The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (Hong Kong Group) Limited [“IFPI (Hong Kong Group)”], organizer of The Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2018 (HKAMF 2018) is pleased to announce that it is undergoing preparation for the HKAMF 2018 to be held 23rd March, 2018 at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
For eight years in a row, the IFPI (Hong Kong Group) Ltd, with the funding support of Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is proud to present the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival. The festival promotes music culture, with top recording artistes from the region gathering together to present a music extravaganza to the audience and aspiring recording artistes taking part in a song contest for the Asian Supernova Award.
The nine participating countries and territories of the HKAMF 2018 are the Mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and new to the list, Vietnam. The event will be produced for television and broadcast in twelve countries and regions and beyond. An audience of more than 6,000 is expected for the live event, with more than half of the tickets to be distributed free to the public in Hong Kong.
An Asian music business forum will also be held. Senior representatives from record labels, management companies, concert producers, music platform and the media will take part to explore more cooperation among different Asian music markets.
