The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (Hong Kong Group) Limited [“IFPI (Hong Kong Group)”], organizer of The Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2018 (HKAMF 2018) is pleased to announce that it is undergoing preparation for the next HKAMF to be held 23rd March, 2018 at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

For the eighth year in a row, the IFPI (Hong Kong Group) Ltd, with the support of Create Hong Kong, is proud to present the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival. The festival promotes music culture, with top recording artists from all over the region taking part in a song contest for the Supernova Award.

The nine participating countries and territories are the Chinese mainland, the city of Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and new to the list, Vietnam.  The event will be produced for television and broadcast in twelve countries and beyond.  An audience of more than 6,000 is expected for the live event, with more than half of the tickets to be distributed free to the public.

An Asian music business forum will also be held. Senior representatives from record labels, management companies, concert producers, music platform and the media will take part.
